Overview

Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Symbiotic's security scanning and analysis capabilities into your AI assistant. Once installed, it exposes security tools that Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients can invoke directly, giving you real-time threat detection and vulnerability assessment as part of your workflow.

The server runs locally via the npm package @symbioticsec/symbiotic-mcp-server, communicating with your AI client over stdio. You'll need to set the SYMBIOTIC_API_TOKEN environment variable to authenticate with Symbiotic's backend. Version v1.0.1 is available now under the MIT license, with source code hosted at SymbioticSec/mcp on GitHub.
