Overview

Mcp Server connects your AI assistant to Counterparty, the token protocol built on Bitcoin. It lets you query the protocol, compose transactions, and sign them directly from Claude, Cursor, VS Code, or any other MCP-compatible client. The model decides when and how to use these capabilities in your conversation or agent workflow.

The server runs locally via the npm package @21e14/mcp-server, communicating over stdio. Installation is simple: npx -y @21e14/mcp-server. You'll need an API key to authenticate. Version 1.0.1 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at XCP/mcp-server on GitHub.
