Overview

Mcp Server connects your AI assistant to source-timestamped energy data and reviewed OilPriceAPI product facts. By speaking the Model Context Protocol, it lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients call energy data as tools instead of requiring manual lookups.

The server runs locally on your machine. Install it with npx -y oilpriceapi-mcp, provide your API Key for authentication, and it communicates with your MCP client over stdio.
