Mcp Server Imap

Overview

Mcp Server Imap is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Email tools for any IMAP/SMTP provider: list, read, search, send, and manage messages. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Mcp Server Imap's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @aiwerk/mcp-server-imap speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need IMAP_HOST, IMAP_USER, IMAP_PASS. The current release is v1.2.1, published under the MIT license, with source at AIWerk/mcp-server-imap on GitHub.
