Overview

Mcp Server renders videos from JSON using motion-design templates, effects, and batch rendering capabilities. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call its tools directly, letting models decide when to use video generation in conversations or agent workflows.

It runs locally via the npm package @ilovevideoeditor/mcp-server, installed with npx -y @ilovevideoeditor/mcp-server. You'll need to provide your VF_API_KEY as an environment variable. The latest release is v1.0.0 under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code available at ilovevideoeditor/mcp-server on GitHub.
