Overview

Mcp Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Look up the technology stack behind any domain, and the company running it. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Mcp Server's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @stackscan/mcp-server speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need STACKSCAN_API_TOKEN, STACKSCAN_TENANT_ID. The current release is v0.3.0, published under the MIT license, with source at stackscan/stackscan-mcp on GitHub.
