Overview

Mcp Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Drive Instavar Studio video jobs (create, render, approve, publish, metrics) with an API key. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Mcp Server's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @instavar/mcp-server speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need INSTAVAR_API_KEY. The current release is v0.3.0, with source at instavar/mcp-server on GitHub.
