Overview

BrowserStack's Official MCP Server brings testing and quality assurance tools into any MCP-compatible AI assistant. The server lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other clients call BrowserStack's capabilities directly, deciding when to run tests, check accessibility, or automate browser-based workflows as part of a conversation or agent task.

The server runs locally via the npm package @browserstack/mcp-server, communicating over stdio. You'll need your BrowserStack API credentials set in the BROWSERSTACK_USERNAME and BROWSERSTACK_ACCESS_KEY environment variables to authenticate. Version 1.0.0 is published under the AGPL-3.0 license with full source code available at browserstack/mcp-server on GitHub, where it has reached 150 stars.
