Mcp Rfc Editor

Overview

Mcp Rfc Editor is a Model Context Protocol server that brings RFC editing capabilities directly into your AI assistant. It exposes RFC editing tools that Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients can invoke on your behalf.

The server runs locally on your machine via the mcp-rfc-editor package, installed with uvx mcp-rfc-editor. It communicates over stdio and requires no credentials or authentication to get started. The latest release is v0.1.2, with source code available at daedalus/mcp-rfc-editor on GitHub.

Mcp Rfc Editor is listed in the Development category on mcp.site and works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and other MCP clients. If you maintain this server, you can claim this listing to verify your ownership and keep the information up to date.
