Mcp Open Finance

Overview

Mcp Open Finance connects your AI assistant to Open Finance Brasil, enabling access to accounts, transactions, consents, credit products, loans, and investments through the Model Context Protocol. Any MCP-compatible AI can call its tools directly, letting the model decide when to retrieve financial data or execute operations in real conversations and agent workflows.

The server runs locally via the npm package @codespar/mcp-open-finance, communicating over stdio. You'll need to provide your OPEN_FINANCE_CLIENT_SECRET as an environment variable. Version v0.2.2 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at codespar/mcp-dev-latam on GitHub, where the project has garnered 269 stars.
