MCP Office PowerPoint

Overview

MCP Office PowerPoint is a 46-tool Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants build, edit, and export PowerPoint files directly. Any MCP-compatible client can call its tools to create, modify, and manage .pptx files programmatically, with the model deciding when and how to use them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally on your machine via the mcp-office Python package, installed with uvx mcp-office. It communicates over stdio and requires the PPT_ALLOWLIST_ROOTS environment variable for configuration.
