MCP Modal Server

Overview

MCP Modal Server is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants direct access to Modal app management tools. It lets you manage Modal apps, containers, volumes, and secrets through natural conversation, with the model deciding when to invoke each tool.

The server runs locally on your machine via the uvx mcp-modal command. The Python package speaks MCP over stdio and requires no authentication or external credentials to get started. Version v0.2.4 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at george-bobby/mcp-modal on GitHub.
