Mcp Mat

Overview

Mcp Mat is a headless Eclipse MAT server that speaks the Model Context Protocol, letting AI assistants analyze Java heap dumps as callable tools. Instead of switching between applications, you can work with heap dump analysis directly within your AI workflow.

The server runs locally via the npm package mcp-mat, which communicates over stdio without requiring any credentials. Version v0.1.0 is available under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code at codelipenghui/mcp-mat on GitHub, where the project has gained 24 stars.

Mcp Mat belongs in the Development category on mcp.site and works with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, you can claim this listing to verify ownership and keep information up to date.
