Overview

Mcp Listen is a Model Context Protocol server that equips AI agents with audio capabilities. It enables microphone capture and speech-to-text functionality, letting your assistants listen and process spoken input as structured tools rather than requiring manual integration between applications.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package mcp-listen, communicating with MCP clients over stdio. No authentication is needed—it works immediately after installation. Version v0.6.0 is available under the Apache-2.0 license with source code at decibri/mcp-listen on GitHub.
