Overview

Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that integrates the img-src.io Image CDN directly into AI assistants. It lets you upload, transform, and deliver images through Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients by exposing image management tools the model can call on your behalf.

The server runs locally via the npm package @img-src/mcp-server and communicates with your AI assistant over stdio. You'll need to set the IMG_SRC_API_KEY environment variable to authenticate with img-src.io. Version v0.2.5 is available now under the MIT license, with source code at img-src-io/mcp on GitHub.
