MCP Gitlab

Overview

MCP Gitlab is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants secure access to GitLab projects, merge requests, issues, and pipelines. Instead of switching between applications, you can let Claude, Cursor, or other MCP clients work with your GitLab data as callable tools.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package mcp-gitlab-crunchtools, installed with uvx mcp-gitlab-crunchtools. No credentials or setup beyond that are required. Version v0.4.1 is available now under the AGPL-3.0 license, with source code at crunchtools/mcp-gitlab on GitHub.
