Overview

Mcp Exa is a Model Context Protocol server that exposes the Exa websearch API as callable tools for AI assistants. Instead of switching between applications, you can integrate web search directly into your AI workflows through a standardized interface.

The server runs locally on your machine via the uvx mcp-exa command, which installs and runs the Python package over stdio. No authentication or credentials are needed—it works immediately after installation. The current release is v0.1.1, licensed under MIT, with source code available at daedalus/mcp-exa on GitHub.
