Crypto MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that brings 99 cryptocurrency tools into your AI assistant. It covers news, market data, on-chain analysis, sentiment metrics, technical indicators, and agent generation—giving Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients direct access to comprehensive crypto intelligence. Any compatible AI can call these tools in real time during conversations or multi-step agent runs.

Install locally via npx -y @blockchainacademics/mcp and configure with your BCA_API_KEY environment variable. The server runs on stdio and speaks MCP natively on your machine. Current release is v0.4.2 under MIT license, with full source available at blockchainacademics/bca-mcp on GitHub.
