Overview

Maya MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Control Autodesk Maya scenes with 71 typed tools for modeling, animation, shading, and more. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package maya-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.6.1, published under the MIT license, with source at GimbalGoats/GG_MayaMCP on GitHub, where it has earned 16 stars.
