Overview

Markdown To Whatsapp is an MCP server that converts Markdown into WhatsApp-compatible formatting, with tables automatically drawn to fit a phone's monospace width. As an MCP server, it exposes conversion tools that AI assistants can invoke directly.

It runs locally on your machine via the npm package markdown-to-whatsapp, communicating over stdio with no credentials required. The server works out of the box at version v1.0.3 under the MIT license, with source code available at drsound/markdown-to-whatsapp on GitHub.
