Overview

Mail is an MCP server that brings Apple Mail into your AI workflow with safe, audited access. It provides fenced reads so AI can review messages, draft-only writing that keeps your inbox secure, human-gated actions for sensitive operations, and full undo support for peace of mind. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Mail's tools directly during conversations and agent runs.

Mail runs locally on your machine via the npm package @honeycrisp/mail, speaking MCP over stdio with no credentials required. Install with npx -y @honeycrisp/mail and it works out of the box. The current release is v0.1.2, published under the MIT license with source available at honeycrisp-suite/honeycrisp on GitHub.
