Lousa

Overview

Lousa is a Model Context Protocol server that transforms how AI agents explain complex ideas. It provides a whiteboard where AI agents can draw their explanations as hand-drawn animated diagrams, making visual explanations a native capability within any MCP-compatible AI assistant. When an AI agent needs to illustrate a concept, it can call Lousa's tools directly to create and display these diagrams.

Lousa runs entirely on your local machine using the npm package installed via npx -y lousa. It communicates with your AI assistant over stdio and requires no authentication or credentials to get started. The current release is v0.1.1, distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license with source code available at henriquepe/lousa on GitHub.
