Overview

Litra Paper Search is an MCP server that brings AI-powered academic paper search directly into your AI assistant. It taps into Litra.ai to find relevant papers and returns them ranked by relevance along with summaries, so you can discover and understand research without leaving your workflow.

The server runs locally via the npm package litra-paper-search-mcp. Installation is straightforward with npx -y litra-paper-search-mcp. You will need a Litra API key, which you provide through the LITRA_API_KEY environment variable. The latest release is v1.0.1 and is published under the MIT license.
