Literature Review Council

Overview

Literature Review Council is a Model Context Protocol server that orchestrates multi-agent workflows for academic research. It automates literature review by conducting research, performing peer review, and synthesizing grounded reports—all accessible as tools within your MCP client rather than through manual copy-paste between applications.

The server runs locally via the Python package lit-review-council, installed with uvx lit-review-council. You'll need to provide three API credentials as environment variables: OPENROUTER_API_KEY, GITHUB_TOKEN, and TAVILY_API_KEY. The latest release is v0.1.4, with source code available at Ravicha2/lit-review-council on GitHub.
