Lit Mcp

Overview

Lit Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that connects to academic literature databases including arXiv and DBLP, helping researchers accelerate their work with large language models. The server exposes search and retrieval tools that AI assistants can invoke on your behalf to find and access scholarly papers.

It runs entirely local on your machine via the uvx lit-mcp command, which installs and launches the Python package. No authentication or external credentials are required—it works immediately after installation. The current release is v1.0.0.
