Overview

LinkedIn is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Read LinkedIn profiles, companies, jobs and messages via your own browser session. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use LinkedIn as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the Python package linkedin-api-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v1.0.1, published under the MIT license, with source at JohannsenLum/linkedin-api-mcp on GitHub.
