Overview

Lific is a local-first issue tracker designed as a Model Context Protocol server. It runs as a single binary backed by SQLite, making it lightweight and MCP-native. Once connected to your AI assistant, it exposes issue tracking as tools the model can invoke directly on your behalf.

The server runs entirely on your machine with no setup required—just install via npx -y lific and it starts speaking MCP over stdio. No authentication or external services are needed.
