Overview

LDAP Assistant MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that brings 389 Directory Server health diagnostics, log analysis, and SOS-report investigation directly into your AI assistant. Instead of manually copying data between tools, you can call LDAP diagnostics as native functions within Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients.

The server runs locally via the uvx command: uvx ldap-assistant-mcp. It communicates over stdio and requires the LDAP_SERVERS_CONFIG environment variable to connect to your directory servers. No authentication is needed. Version v0.5.0 is available under the GPL-3.0 license, with full source code at droideck/ldap-assistant-mcp on GitHub.
