Layerback Mcp

Overview

Layerback Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Convert diagram images into fully editable Visio (VSDX), PowerPoint, draw.io, and SVG files. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package layerback-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need LAYERBACK_API_KEY. The current release is v0.1.2, published under the MIT license, with source at TopLocalAI/layerback-mcp on GitHub.
