Overview

lastseen mortality is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Check whether an npm package, GitHub Action, MCP server or Docker image is dead or abandoned. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package lastseen-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.1.2, with source at agentidx/lastseen-mcp on GitHub.
