Knowing

Overview

Knowing is a Model Context Protocol server that provides a content-addressed code graph with 22 MCP tools designed for AI agents. It enables AI assistants to access code intelligence, memory, and compliance capabilities through callable tools, eliminating the need to manually transfer data between applications.

The server runs locally via the npm package @blackwell-systems/knowing, which communicates over stdio without requiring any credentials. It installs with a single command and works immediately out of the box. The current release is v0.15.1, published under the MIT license with source code available at blackwell-systems/knowing on GitHub.
