Overview

Kiwoom Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that connects AI assistants to Kiwoom Securities REST API for Korean markets. It exposes 236 endpoints with streaming support and gated order execution, letting Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients access Korean market data and trading functionality as callable tools.

The server runs locally on your machine via uvx kiwoom-mcp, which installs the Python package and speaks MCP over stdio. No authentication credentials are required — it works out of the box. The latest release is v0.1.2, published under the Apache-2.0 license with source code available at gejyn14/kiwoom-plugin on GitHub.
