KIP MCP Server

Overview

KIP MCP Server reads a boat's Signal K data and helps AI assistants design and install KIP dashboards. Any MCP-compatible AI can call the server's tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally via the npm package kip-mcp-server, communicating over stdio on your machine. It requires an API key for authentication. The current release is v1.12.0, published under the MIT license with source code available at dillan/kip-mcp-server on GitHub.
