Jira Cloud

Overview

Jira Cloud is an MCP server that brings Jira Cloud management into any MCP-compatible AI assistant. It lets you work with issues, sprints, boards, filters, and custom fields directly through natural conversation — your AI assistant decides when and how to use these tools based on what you ask.

The server runs locally via the npm package @aaronsb/jira-cloud-mcp and communicates over stdio. You'll need to provide three environment variables: JIRA_API_TOKEN, JIRA_EMAIL, and JIRA_HOST to authenticate with your Jira instance. The latest release is v0.10.0, and the full source code is available at aaronsb/jira-cloud on GitHub.
