Overview

Iris is a Model Context Protocol server that connects to Microsoft 365 mail. It lets you draft email messages through your AI assistant, integrating email composition into your workflow without copy-pasting between apps. Note that Iris can draft but cannot send messages, as it operates without the Mail.Send scope.

The server runs locally as a Python package. Install it with uvx iris-mcp and configure it using the IRIS_CLIENT_ID environment variable. The current release is v0.1.0, published under the MIT license. Source code is available at SuperAngryMonkey/iris on GitHub.
