Overview

Ip2Location Geolocation is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Look up IP address location and geolocation data with country, city, timezone, and ISP details. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Ip2Location Geolocation's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the Python package mcparmory-ip2location-geolocation (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v1.0.3, with source at mcparmory/registry on GitHub, where it has earned 30 stars.
