Impact Preview

Overview

Impact Preview is a Model Context Protocol server that lets AI agents preview what changes will occur before executing any action. By integrating with MCP, it gives Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other AI assistants direct access to impact simulation as callable tools, eliminating the need to switch between applications.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package impact-preview, installed with uvx impact-preview. It communicates with MCP clients over stdio and requires no authentication or credentials to get started. The current release is v0.2.1, distributed under the MIT license, with source code available at agent-polis/impact-preview on GitHub.
