Overview

Idf Mcp transforms an IDF domain into a Model Context Protocol server, embedding invariants and role scopes directly into every tool description. This lets AI assistants call your IDF tools natively instead of requiring manual data transfer between systems.

The server runs locally via the npm package @intent-driven/mcp-server, communicating over stdio with your machine. You'll need to provide IDF_SERVER and IDF_DOMAIN as environment variables, plus an API key for authentication. Version v1.0.2 is available under the MIT license, with source code at intent-driven-software/idf-mcp on GitHub.
