Hythe

Overview

Hythe is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: HYTHE — coordination bus + shared truth for AI agent fleets — self-hosted MCP server + stdio bridge. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use Hythe as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the npm package @hythe/mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need HYTHE_AGENT_ID, API_KEY. The current release is v0.1.7, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at hythe-dev/hythe on GitHub.
