Horizun PBI MCP

Overview

Horizun PBI MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Open-source MCP server for Power BI Desktop, DAX, PBIP, TMDL and PBIR automation. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package horizun-pbi-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v2.1.0, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at HorizunGroup/horizun-pbi-mcp on GitHub, where it has earned 12 stars.
