Overview

Hevy MCP Server connects your AI assistant to the Hevy API for managing workouts, routines, and exercise data. Instead of switching between apps, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients can call Hevy as a set of native tools, letting you build workout plans and track training programmatically alongside your coding workflow.

The server runs locally via npx -y hevy-mcp and communicates over stdio with your MCP client. You'll need a Hevy API key, provided through the HEVY_API_KEY environment variable. Version v3.2.1 is available now under the MIT license from chrisdoc/hevy-mcp on GitHub, where the project has gathered 447 stars.
