HasData Google Maps

Overview

HasData Google Maps is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Google Maps places, reviews, contributor history, photos and posts as JSON. No Google Cloud. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call HasData Google Maps's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

You can run HasData Google Maps two ways: connect to the hosted endpoint at https://mcp.hasdata.com/api/mcp?apis=google_maps with no local install, or run it on your own machine via the npm package @hasdata/google-maps-mcp. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need HASDATA_API_KEY. The current release is v1.0.3, published under the MIT license, with source at HasData/google-maps-mcp on GitHub.
