Overview

HackTricks MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you search and query HackTricks pentesting documentation directly from your AI assistant. Any MCP-compatible tool can call its search and section extraction features, letting Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other clients access penetration testing resources in real time as part of their conversations and agent workflows.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package hacktricks-mcp-server, installed with npx -y hacktricks-mcp-server. It communicates over stdio and requires no credentials or external authentication to get started. Version v1.3.4 is released under the MIT license with full source code available at Xplo8E/hacktricks-mcp-server on GitHub.
