Overview

Gtasks Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Google Tasks management into your AI workflow. It lets you list, search, create, update, move, and clear tasks directly through MCP-enabled assistants, turning task operations into tools your AI can invoke on demand.

The server runs locally via the npm package @alvincrave/gtasks-mcp, communicating over stdio. You'll need to provide Google API credentials through three environment variables: GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID, GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET, and GOOGLE_REFRESH_TOKEN. The latest release is v0.2.0, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at alvinjchoi/gtasks-mcp on GitHub.
