Overview

Graphkeeper is a Model Context Protocol server that analyzes git history to discover file co-change patterns and builds them into a queryable knowledge graph. It makes these insights available as tools in any MCP-compatible AI assistant, letting models understand how files in your codebase evolve together over time.

The server runs locally on your machine via the graphkeeper-cli package installed with uvx. It communicates with your AI assistant over standard input and output, requires no authentication, and works immediately out of the box. The latest release is v0.1.5 under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code available at RudrenduPaul/GraphKeeper on GitHub.
