Overview

Google Gmail is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Send, read, organize emails, manage labels, drafts, and filters. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package mcparmory-google-gmail (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v1.0.4, with source at mcparmory/registry on GitHub, where it has earned 30 stars.
