Overview

Google Analytics 4 is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Google Analytics 4: 27 read-only tools across the Data API and the Admin API. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package @getmcpads/google-analytics-mcp-server speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need GA4_CLIENT_ID, GA4_CLIENT_SECRET, GA4_REFRESH_TOKEN. The current release is v1.0.2, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at getmcpads-com/google-analytics-mcp-server on GitHub.
