Overview

Google Ads is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Google Ads: 31 read tools with full Keyword Planner, 7 write tools that preview first. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use Google Ads as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the npm package @getmcpads/google-ads-mcp-server speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need GOOGLE_ADS_DEVELOPER_TOKEN, GOOGLE_ADS_CLIENT_ID, GOOGLE_ADS_CLIENT_SECRET (among others). The current release is v1.0.2, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at getmcpads-com/google-ads-mcp-server on GitHub.
