Overview

GitHub is a Model Context Protocol server that connects AI assistants directly to GitHub, enabling management of repositories, issues, pull requests, workflows, and git operations. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can invoke GitHub's tools during conversations or agent runs, with the model deciding when and how to use them.
