Ghidra Retro Mcp

Overview

Ghidra Retro Mcp is a headless MCP server that brings Ghidra's reverse-engineering capabilities to AI assistants. It provides P-code emulation and multi-console ROM triage, letting you analyze and debug retro games and firmware directly through Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients without manual context switching.

The server runs locally as a Python package via uvx ghidra-retro-mcp, communicating with your MCP client over stdio. You'll need to set the GHIDRA_INSTALL_DIR environment variable to point to your Ghidra installation. Version v1.0.0 is available now under the Apache-2.0 license, with full source code at getanirao/ghidra-retro-mcp on GitHub.
